    Table Decorations Platters Kids

Choose brightly coloured party decorations for your beach themed party. Search bargain bins at your local fabric store for remnants that can be draped over furniture or use beach towels to cover the floor and create your own "beach".

Set the scene with inflatable toys like boats, beach balls and swim rings, as well as boogie boards and snorkels. Add beach umbrellas and chairs and string up a beach net for a real taste of summer. Coloured leis, beach hats and big flowers look fantastic and help make the party bright and cheerful. Use papier-mâché or cardboard to make fish decorations and hang them around the room. Remember to ask guests to wear bathers, rash vests and sunhats.

Sunny yellow plates or beach themed cups and napkins make great table decorations. Sprinkle the centre of the table with sand, sea shells and plastic animals. Glass rocks will provide a bit of sparkle. Now just add kids!

Jelly Spiders Fancy Jelly Cups Jelly Cups

Everybody loves a day at the beach. And there’s no better way to keep cool and enjoy the seaside than with the refreshing taste of Aeroplane Jelly.

Bring the taste of sand and sea to your party with delicious jelly ice cream. Use lime, berry blue, lemon or pineapple flavours for a fruity ice-cream taste that always goes down a treat.

For a quick, fun dessert, decorate jelly cups with cocktail sticks or create “sea creatures” with lollies and a bowl of blue jelly. Jelly oranges are another delicious treat perfect for the seaside. Cut oranges in half, scoop out the middle and pour in your favourite jelly flavours. When the jelly has set, cut into segments and serve as a refreshing snack.

      Jelly Eating

Have a jelly eating competition! Put different flavoured jellies onto plastic plates and get the kids to try and eat it with their hands behind their backs. A little messy, but good fun! Or you could try having the jelly eating competition using the jelly oranges instead.

Create excitement with a message in a bottle

Fill a clear water bottle with sand, glitter and small seashells. Print off invitations on gold paper and roll into scrolls. Tie with raffia, insert into the bottles and deliver your message-in-a-bottle invitations to party guests.

Have a ball with inflatable party invitations

Write party details on inexpensive inflatable beach balls with a permanent marker. Then mail or deliver the deflated beach balls to your beach party guests. They will have to inflate the balls to read their invitation!
