Choc Cherry Individual Trifles

An indulgent take on a classic dessert. Serve with cream and Cherry Ripe chocolate for a decadent treat.

INGREDIENTS 8 SERVINGS

  • 1 x 85 g Aeroplane Original Raspberry Flavour Jelly
  • ½ 400 g can pitted black dark cherries, drained
  • ⅓ 250 g packet mini chocolate Swiss roll sponge, sliced
  • 2 cups (500 mL) thick chocolate custard
  • 300 mL thickened cream, whipped
  • 55 g Cherry Ripe chocolate bar, cut into 12 triangles
  • 8 fresh cherries

PREPARATION

  • 1 Prepare the Aeroplane Original Raspberry Flavoured Jelly according to pack instructions, and refrigerate until set.
  • 2 Spoon set Raspberry Jelly in the bottom of 8 individual glass dishes and top with cherries.
  • 3 Place sponge slices over the cherries and spoon on top the chocolate custard.
  • 4 Top with cream, Cherry Ripe and cherries, as desired.
